This new collection of photographs endeavours to capture the mood of the unique Dungeness Peninsula. It is classified as Great Britain’s only official desert. It is home to approaching 700 plant species. Their presence, naturally, is not so evident in the winter months. In the spring it is wonderful to see the emergence above the shingle of the full collection of plants and blooms of every colour imaginable.
Dungeness has an atmosphere all of its own. It changes dramatically with the seasons and the day to day weather. Some of the pictures reflect this. None of the photos have been enhanced in any way.
